A custom die is produced and stamped into metal, then cut to the precise outline.  Plating is the next step in the process.  We offer a wide variety of finishes.  In this style of pin the recessed areas are filled with enamel paint.  The raised metal lines separate the enamel paint.

The easiest way to tell this style of pin is that you can feel the raised metal lines.

Cloisonné

-also known as Hard Enamel

A custom die is produced and stamped into metal, then cut to the precise outline.   The enamel is added then polished so it is flush with the metal lines.  Once all the colours have been complete, the pin is then plated.  One last polish, this is what gives this style the smooth surface.

There are many additional steps to a hard enamel pin, so this does add to the cost.

Cast Style Pin

-Canadian Made

This style of pin uses a rubber mold that hot metal in injected into.  The molds are spun at high speed to make an even finish.

It is a unique process that allows a fairly quick turn around that is Canadian Made

This style of pin can capture a ton of detail.  Four colour process printing is done directly on metal.  Custom shapes are definitely achievable.
